Vector Art Practice

I’ve been gradually learning vector art techniques. It’s quite a different way of working than I’m used to but I can appreciate its uses and I’m thinking of ways to incorporate it into my process. It makes you think about shape and colour a lot more. Sometimes you need a nice clean look that is easier and smarter to make using vectors than trying to hand draw it, but I’m also interested in how I can incorporate texture into it. Vector files are also a lot more versatile when it comes to resizing and adjusting elements. I followed a few tutorials recently on Frankentoon and Envato.

Here are some of my efforts so far.
